Tip: Wax hardens when cool and can block flow in your ball valve. Our Heated Valve Assembly saves you on headaches, just turn it on to melt the wax to restore flow.
Spare Heating Element. You may never need it, but great to have just in case. Saves you on down time.

Simple to flush the tank jacket. Convenient Inlet and Outlet Fittings. Tip: Make draining the tank jacket even easier with our “Faucet for Water Jacket”. It replaces the drain plug where you can then attach a standard garden hose and control flow with a simple turn of the handle.

Tank Jacket Tips:
You can fill your Tank Jacket with Water, Mineral Oil or Propylene Glycol (PPG).
PPG and Mineral oil heat slower than water, yet you get better heat retention, evaporation is less of an issue, it allows for higher temperatures, and less maintenance is required.
NOTE: When using PPG, always use food grade quality that contains a corrosion inhibitor.
When you want the option to cool your your tank down quickly, water is the best choice for filling your tank jacket.
